In the past three months I have found myself wanting to take a trip with a camera to the city of New Orleans, LA. So I decided to take a trip down memory lane with many fun explorations of the city. Stay tuned for more very soon from Kaptography.

If you have ever had the opportunity to photograph a city like New Orleans, Louisiana…you know there are many views & memories that may leave you but certain aspects of the city blend the old views with the new. The style and architecture that will never fade with the sounds of Louis Armstrong & Pete Fountain. Views of street cars on their way to mystery like the one below just crossing Camp Street slowly moving into the night. The mystery of the city gets more unique as the hours after midnight continue.

The image ‘Mystery Awaits‘ is about excitement. So many visit the New Orleans area with an intention. Many want to ride a street car but others want to ride a street car to experience the views. This street car frequents the Cemeteries location. There are many things to view that only give off the fragrance of this city. I felt it would be a good memory for anyone who has visited New Orleans for it’s mysterious side. The Ghost Tour, The Cemetary Tour, The Voo Doo Tour, and the French Quarter Tour are all part of this part of New Orleans. The Mystery of the city attracts many annually.

*Every time I view this image it reminds me of a new image I would like to possibly experience when I return and I always smile.

After all… life is about the mystery and exploring; you can do both in the French Quarter!
